IAAF Golden League Jackpot – Three remain in hunt for $1 Million

MonteCarloThree athletes have won their Jackpot events at the first three meetings of the IAAF Golden League 2007 in Oslo, Norway (15 June), Paris, France (6 July) and Rome, Italy (13 July 2007).

If any of these three stars continue their winning streak through all six fixtures of the IAAF Golden League this summer, they will win at least a share of the $1 Million Jackpot.

The series will resume after the 11th IAAF World Championships in Athletics, Osaka, Japan (25 Aug to 2 Sep), when the fourth meeting of the IAAF Golden League 2007 - Weltklasse Zürich - takes place in Zürich, Switzerland on Friday 7 September.

The IAAF Golden League Jackpot Contenders are:

Women:
400m: Sanya Richards (USA)
100m Hurdles: Michelle Perry (USA)
Pole Vault: Yelena Isinbayeva (RUS)

IAAF Golden League Jackpot in 2007

$1 Million Prize

Successful claimants of the $1 Million Jackpot must win their event (a list of applicable jackpot events is shown below) at ALL SIX meetings of the IAAF Golden League.

However, should NO athlete manage to attain six wins and claim the $1 Million, then anyone with five victories will share half the original prize - $500,000.
NOTE. this secondary prize is only on offer should nobody win his or her event at all six meetings.

All winners must compete at the 5th IAAF World Athletics Final, Stuttgart, Germany, 22-23 September 2007, to be eligible for their share of the Jackpot.

MEN: 100m, 1500m, 110m Hurdles, Triple Jump, Javelin Throw;
WOMEN: 100m, 400m, 100m Hurdles, High Jump, Pole Vault.
