IAAF Television Magazine Athletix – broadcast starts today!

MonteCarloThe first broadcast of this season’s IAAF Television Magazine Athletix takes place on Wednesday 17 May. Each of the twenty weekly programmes will make a whirlwind world tour of athletics, stopping off at the IAAF Golden League, IAAF World Athletics Tour and all major IAAF Competitions, Championships, Cups, and Challenges.

As well as the action from competition, there will be many opportunities to live and feel the lifestyle of great and famous athletes through carefully crafted productions and flashbacks to spectacular athletics moments of the past. Viewers will be given an insider’s perspective of athletics and become inspired by what the sport can bring to everyday life.

Follow the peerless ‘Prince of Wales’ and hurdles supremo Colin Jackson and other greats like Carl Lewis, Michael Johnson, Sebastian Coe, Sergey Bubka, Jackie Joyner-Kersee, Marie-José Perec, Gabriela Szabo, Kelly Holmes, Merlene Ottey…. Catch up with the new generation of World record breakers Justin Gatlin, Asafa Powell, Yelena Isinbayeva, Paula Radcliffe and Kenenisa Bekele, and World champions Kajsa Bergqvist, Carolina Klüft, Ladji Doucouré, Adam Nelson, Jeremy Wariner, and many more in this season’s programmes.
