"I was very motivated to compete here today because in Edmonton I pulled a hamstring and couldn't show what I can do. I have always wanted to be on the top. Now I am the World Champion and that feels good.
"I was well prepared but the gold medal didn't come easy. The competition was so tight that the pressure I felt enormous. Even my best jump wasn't that good, I thought I didn't hit the board that well.
"Tonight is the night of winning. Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose. Now it is my night."
