French 4x100m relay team

Sylviane FELIX:

"We actually wanted to try ourselves out tonight to see how it felt and it turns out to be very good. This looks very promising: we can do something great in the final."

Patricia GIRARD:

"This is an amazing relay team with seven great girls including Odiah SIDIBE, Fabe DIA and Veronique MANG. We are really motivated to get the gold. Tomorrow will be a real fight. We want to move one step further. While waiting in the call room we saw that the US team ran very fast and we wanted to respond to the time they clocked and we ended up running a national record."

Christine ARRON:

"We have a beautiful team. We ran well but we can run even faster tomorrow. I didn't give it all because I tried to save some energy for the final. The hand-offs were so-so, I have no doubt we can improve on this time."

Muriel HURTIS:

"We need to go home and relax now to make sure we run a great final tomorrow. We just have to keep going this way."
