I felt well and I am happy I qualified. It shows my training is going well. This is my first World Indoor Championships and I don't want to leave Istanbul empty-handed. It will a tough final.
First - Christian TAYLOR, USA
I was a little flat but I am happy with my jump. It is my season's best so I am really happy about it. I want to make it a double after winning in Daegu and show I will be ready in July. I am confident and God willing, things will go well tomorrow.
Second - Fabrizio DONATO, ITA
I had good sensations and wanted to qualify with one jump. I was relaxed. That is a good sign and it shows my condition. The Americans will be the favorite tomorrow and we'll need 17.40-17.50 to medal.
Third - Will CLAYE, USA
I am happy I managed to qualify automatically. That will definitely help me for the Long Jump. I felt good, not as good as I wanted. I just want to rest and get ready for tonight.
