Kenya to send 21 athletes to Ostrava

Kenya has named a young promising team of 21 athletes for the fifth IAAF World Youth Championships to be held in Ostrava, Czech Republic, July 11-15.

The selection exercise followed two days of rigorous trials at the National Quadrangular Championships at the newly-renovated Nyayo National Stadium which ended on Wednesday.

400m Hurdles: Linga Mutunga, Julius Rotich.
800m: Godfrey Cheruiyot, Kingeno Chepkwony
1500m: Josephat Kithii, Fredrick Musyoki
