At the finish line, the victory went to Jonathan Kipkorir, second in last year’s Ostia half-marathon (PB 60:59), who ran with 61:39 minutes, to finish only 9 seconds ahead of William Todoo, the winner of 2006 Ostia half-marathon.

The podium was completed by Robert Kipchumba in 61:55. He is the silver medallist from last year’s IAAF World Road Running Championship and was the winner of 2007 Lisbon Half Marathon this year in March (59:28).
