Marcell DEÁK NAGY (HUN)1st in HEAT 1 - 46.23
I'm tired, because it was a little bit faster than yesterday. But it's time for the final.
I have to run faster than today in the final tomorrow.
Now I must run my race a little bit.
(My plan is) a personal best.
Errol NOLAN (USA) - 2nd in HEAT 1 – 46.47
I’m feeling good. I tagged the backstretch this time, but I took off on the last curve, that’s what affected the race, but I still made it to the next round. I want to [get a personal record], by a lot. I’ve been training for it and I think I’m ready.
Kirani JAMES (GRN) – 1st in HEAT 2 – 46.27
I wanted to run faster than yesterday. I was able to use my strength to run through the finish line.
I knew where I was on the track. I simply wanted to run, win and qualify.
Joshua MANCE (USA), 1st in HEAT 3 – 46.43
That wind is a killer. The race went good. I won my heat, so I’m happy about that. The wind was a challenge, and I was coming around the curve, and they were on me…I gotta get out harder tomorrow. A lot harder. Work on my start. I want a PR.
Alistair MOONA (CAN) – 2nd in HEAT 3 – 46.83
I came into this race feeling good. I just wanted to qualify for the finals and I did just that. The race went pretty good, as planned. I took it out hard, ran the first 200m hard and just came home strong.
