MonteCarloAs well as the world’s top 25 meetings - ÅF Golden League and Super Grand Prix on the top rung and Grand Prix on the second level - which make up the 2008 IAAF World Athletics Tour there are a large number of Qualifying Area Permit meetings (APM-Q) at which qualifying points can also be acquired by athletes for the IAAF / VTB Bank World Athletics Final, Stuttgart, Germany, 13-14 September 2008.

Recently there have been a few late changes to this year’s APM-Q calendar which have been agreed by the IAAF:

The meeting in Ponce, Puerto Rico which will be held on 17 May, has been added to the 2008 APM-Q calendar, while the meeting in Rabat, Morocco (14 June) is replaced by Algiers, Algeria (29 May), and the fixture in Manaus, Brazil (22 May) is replaced by Rio, Brazil (18 May). The Linz meeting in Austria is now no longer part of the 2008 APM-Q calendar.
