World Marathon record holder Paula Radcliffe has withdrawn from the Seven Hills Race in Nijmegen, The Netherlands on 20 November.

Radcliffe, who had been scheduled to make her first road race appearance on Dutch soil in the prestigious 15 kilometres event, is still recovering race fitness after suffering from bronchitis.

The World Marathon champion had taken part in the London 10K race on 16 October but admitted afterwards she was very disappointed with her time of 32:19 time, then later discovered she was nursing a high temperature which prevented her training and forced her withdrawal from the following weekend's National Road Relays.

Radcliffe has yet to announce whether she will still compete for the Norwich Union GB team scheduled to compete in the Chiba Ekiden relays in Japan on 23 November.
