FacebookTwitterEmail

Last Tuesday, 9 February, in Tampere (FIN), South African Champion Llewellyn Herbert, 400m hurdles bronze medallist in the last IAAF World Championships in Athens established a new world best performance over 300m hurdles indoor with the time of 34.92.

The distance, which for obvious reasons cannot be run in all indoor stadiums, had been held only once before, on February 4 1998 also in Tampere.

Jamaican Dinsdale Morgan, 7th in Athens, won that the race in 36.02.

Herbert has therefore ran the World Best of the two performances!
