The women's division of the Dong-A Marathon on 13 March 2005 was won by 26 year-old national champion Zhou Chunxiu of China in 2:23:24. She improved her PB from the 2:23:28 time with which she won the Chinese title nearly a year ago (27 March 2004 in Xiamen). Chunxiu’s time was the second fastest by a woman in the world this year.
