MonteCarloThe International Association of Athletics Federations (IAAF) is seeking to fill a vacancy for a senior executive position, based at its Headquarters in Monaco.
The IAAF Competition Director will be responsible for all matters connected to the organization of IAAF World Athletics Series competitions, and will report to the IAAF General Secretary Pierre Weiss. The successful candidate is likely to have expert knowledge of the organization of athletics competitions and will need to display excellent management skills. As well as supervising the technical aspects of IAAF competitions, the Competition Director will also oversee the logistical needs of the various IAAF competitions, in close co-operation with local organizing committees and will work closely with the IAAF Marketing, Communications and Television departments.
