Tola and Joseph win Copenhagen half marathon

12 June 2000Malmo, Sweden – On Monday Ethiopia’s Tsefaye Tola won the Copenhagen-Malmo half marathon in 59.46 ahead of Kenyan Philip Rugut. Tanzania’s Faustin Baha came third.

In the women’s race, Tanzania’s Resituta Joseph took victory in 1:07.55 ahead of Kenya’s Joyce Chepchumba, runner up at this year’s London marathon behind Tegla Loroupe, and Russian Ljubov Morgunova.
