Isabelle PEDERSEN (NOR)GOLD MEDAL13.30 (NJ)

[I feel] something between wonderful, happy, shocked, amazing, insane and just wonderful. It’s just “wow.” I don’t know what to say. I don’t believe the time, either.

I’ve been running really fast in training. The hurdles have been perfect in my last training. It was just a matter of time when it was supposed to come out. That it would be here, I would have never believed that. We were coming here and just felt, “OK, we’ll be happy with the semi-finals, and if you make the finals it will be so much more than expected, and the times will come later.”

It’s the European Championship next. Hopefully I’ll do as well there. I’ve almost done everything now. I have no idea.

I’m in shock. This is just so insane.

Jenna PLETSCH (GER) SILVER - 13.35

It’s okay. I’m a bit sad because it was a good race, and she was pretty good. During the last two hurdles, I sucked - I was bad!

But I’m so happy with it. I can’t believe it. It’s amazing.

I’m not sure what I expected but all the stuff - the track is really good here, and the people running with me are fast, so it was really just cool. It was a nice race.

It’s so cool we are together! We are friends, I’m so excited.

Next, we have the German championships in two weeks and we will see what happens there.

Miriam HEHL (GER) BRONZE - 13.46

I’m so happy because the first few [hurdles] were so bad. I saw the results  on the screen and I thought, yes!

It feels so good. I’m so happy for Jenna, too. We had a good season.

I like it here. It’s a very good stadium. The track is very fast.

It’s my first international, and I will take a lot from this experience with me.

Just look forward to doing your own thing - don’t look right, don’t look left, just do your own thing and focus on yourself.
