The French athletics federation (FFA) has selected 26 athletes to compete at the IAAF/BTC World Relays Bahamas 2017 on 22-23 April.

The team includes Olympic 200m bronze medallist Christophe Lemaitre, who helped set a European record of 1:20.66 when placing third at the 2014 IAAF World Relays and then finished one place higher at the 2015 edition.

France earned European silver medals in the women’s 4x400m and men’s 4x100m last year and both teams are expected to feature highly in Nassau. At the 2015 IAAF World Relays, the French women’s 4x400m team placed fourth while the men’s 4x100m team finished fifth.
