Jordan Diaz is one of 13 Cuban athletes who will compete at the IAAF World U20 Championships Tampere 2018 on 10-15 July.
The 17-year-old recently broke his own world U18 best in the triple jump with 17.41m, taking him to third on the world U20 all-time list.
He is joined on the team by three other world U18 champions: long jumper Maikel Vidal, discus thrower Silinda Morales and hammer thrower Amanda Almendariz.
Two years after taking the silver medal in Bydgoszcz, heptathlete Adriana Rodriguez is once again on the Cuban team for her second World U20 Championships.
