IAAF Ethics Board provisionally suspends Mwangi

The independent IAAF Ethics Board (formerly Ethics Commission) has announced the provisional suspension of Mr Isaac Mwangi, CEO of Athletics Kenya, from all offices or positions in either Athletics Kenya or the IAAF in the interests of the integrity of the sport.

As was made public by the Ethics Board, this provisional suspension is for a period of 180 days starting on 22 February 2016, pending investigation of a complaint made against him and information that the IAAF Ethics Board has seen.

Le Comité d’éthique de l’IAAF suspend Mwangi à titre provisoire.

Le Comité d’éthique indépendant de l’IAAF (précédemment la Commission d’éthique) a annoncé la supension provisoire de M. Isaac Mwangi, le CEO d’Athletics Kenya, de toute responsabilité ou poste, tant au sein d’Athletics Kenya que de l’IAAF, et ce dans l’intérêt de l’intégrité de l’athlétisme.

Le Comité d’éthique a annoncé que cette suspension provisoire, d’une durée de 180 jours, prenait effet à compter du 22 février 2016, afin de permettre une investigation portant sur une plainte déposée à l’encontre de M. Mwangi et sur des informations portées à l’attention du Comité d’éthique de l’IAAF.
