Two months before the inaugural IAAF World Relays go to Nassau, The Bahamas will be looking to strike global gold in Sopot.

They have three members of the quartet that upset the USA to win the London 2012 Olympic Games gold – Chris Brown, Michael Mathieu and Ramon Miller – in their squad.

But the depth of the USA is difficult to conquer and of the eight fastest individual 400m runners who will be in Sopot, half of them are from the US. Having won the past four world indoor 4x400m titles, the USA looks set to add a fifth consecutive gold in Sopot.

Despite world leader Deon Lendore focusing on the NCAA Championships, Trinidad and Tobago still have a strong team and could improve on their bronze medal from two years ago.

Russia, Great Britain and Jamaica are the other likely contenders in the race for the medals. Japan, Nigeria, Poland, Spain and Ukraine are the other teams entered.
