The triple jump will be a clash of champions. At 14.07m, Spain’s defending world junior champion Ana Peleteiro leads the 2014 junior list, but Florentina Marincu, the double 2013 world youth champion, is also entered, although her best in 2014 is only 13.36m.

Peleteiro is one of only four defending champions entered on the women’s side.

China’s world youth silver medallist Wang Rong recently set an outdoor PB of 13.98m, just 11cm shy of her indoor best, while Marincu’s team-mate Elena Panturoiu, the European junior silver medallist, could also be one to watch.
