Domingos Castro victorious in Paris

Portugal’s Domingos Castro outsprinted African representatives on Sunday to win the 21th edition of the "20km of Paris" in 57:54. He finished ahead of Kenya’s Luke Metto and Morocco’s Lahoucine Mirikik with whom he had broken away from the leading group respectively by 1 and 5 seconds.

But there was an African victory in the women’s race thanks to Ethiopia’s Adere Berhane who clocked 1:06:36 ahead of Russia’s Ludmila Biktacheva and Romania’s Alina Tecuta
