Great Britain took the honours in the Boys 100m Final, with Harry Aikines-Aryeetey just outdipping his team-mate Alex Nelson at the line to snatch the gold medal in a personal best of 10.35 to Nelson’s 10.36.

The two turned on the speed twenty metres out to edge Trinidad’s Keston Bledman into the third place of the podium with 10.55, with Bledman holding off the final sprint of Japan’s Takafumi Kumamoto (10.60) to take the bronze.
