Monte-Carlo – The IAAF is delighted to announce that a broadcasting deal has been concluded with British Eurosport to show TV coverage in the UK of the ExxonMobil Bislett Games in Oslo, Norway, Friday 3 July, the second leg of the six meeting ÅF Golden League.

This agreement follows the recent news that the Irish broadcaster Setanta Sports, who held the broadcasting rights for the ÅF Golden League for the UK, had stopped broadcasting in Britain after going into administration.

Negotiations between British Eurosport and IMG, the IAAF’s marketing partner for ÅF Golden League broadcasting rights, are continuing in the hope of concluding a deal which will also cover the remaining four meetings of the ÅF Golden League 2009.

British Eurosport is of course already a established partner of the IAAF providing coverage of the major IAAF World Championships.

For exact details/timings regarding their coverage of tomorrow night’s ExxonMobil Bislett Games please contact British Eurosport.
