She won the 1997 World title at 200m five days after she thought that she had won the 100m, only for the photo finish to show that Marion Jones had held on to beat her 10.83 to 10.85. Four years later it was the other way round as she beat Jones 10.82 to 10.85. Married athletics agent Mark Block in 1999.
