"It is my fourth title and I wanted it more than anything. I am incredibly glad to win here today.

"I love Paris, I have some friends here who came to watch me today. The crowd has been great throughout the competition and helped a lot to all of us.

"I wanted to run a little faster, but I feel relaxed now having won after all this hard work and a tough race."

Silver Medallist - Terrence TRAMMELL USA

"I had an injury plagued year including the world indoor championships in Birmingham. It is only my fourth outdoor meet of the season, so I can not be anything but happy.

"I just want to thank God for this medal. My family and friends have been praying for me to do well here in Paris.

"Training and running together with Allen (JOHNSON) this year has really paid off, it is a great advantage and helps a lot."

Bronze Medallist - Xiang LIU CHN

"I am happy even though I didn't feel well during the race; I had a lot of pressure on me, but I am very happy to bring another medal for China.

"I am feeling more confident now for Athens, and basically my results do the talking."
