"It was a tough race. I had to work really hard to get the medal. I knew I could have won the race, but I have to go home with the bronze medal and be satisfied with it.
"My tactics was to kick at 600m but I was in a bad position. I was something like fourth at that point and the others were going too fast. I responded too late."
