Japanese dominate Asian Cross Country Championships

Japan won three of the four team titles at stake in the Asian Cross Country Championships held in Pune, India, on 22 February 2004.

The Japanese won the senior women’s and junior men and women titles while China took the senior men’s crown.

Han Gang of China and Yumi Sato of Japan won the senior races among the men and women, while Satoru Kitamura of Japan and Bao Guiyin of China were the corresponding winners in the junior section.
