World Half Marathon record holder Samuel Wanjiru Kamau has been included in the national athletics squads for next month’s IAAF World Championships in Athletics, Osaka, Japan.
Athletics Kenya chairman Isaiah Kiplagat said that the athlete had been included because he is based in Japan and is used to the conditions.
Wanjiru finished fourth over 10,000m at the trials, and is selected for that event.
