Weltklasse ZürichÅF Golden League 2009 - has once again attracted a great amount of interest: All stadium tickets, both for the standing area and the seats, have completely sold out. The 2009 edition of the meeting on 28 August will be held in front of 26,000 stadium spectators.
The stadium has sold out even faster than in 2008. “The spectator capacity was increased considerably with the building of the new arena three years ago. It is wonderful to see that our meeting has so many loyal fans that the tickets are sold as early as one month before the event”, Meeting Director Patrick K. Magyar, explained.
“Our legendary audience has always been a very strong argument when negotiating with stars. Usain Bolt and Yelena Isinbayeva both have just confirmed that they are very much looking forward to competing in Zurich again, as this is where they receive the most enthusiastic support, the most thunderous applause.”
Last Ticket Opportunity on 25 August 2009
For those fans who did not manage to get hold of a ticket, there will be one last opportunity: Every year, a number of tickets are cancelled on short notice. These tickets will be available online on Tuesday, 25 August, as of 9 a.m. at www.weltklassezuerich.ch (while stocks last).
