Field eventers lead Polish team for IAAF World Athletics Championships Doha 2019

The Polish Athletics Association (PZLA) has announced a team of 44 for the IAAF World Athletics Championships Doha 2019, which will be held from 27 September until 6 October.

The team is led by defending hammer champion Paweł Fajdek, world ranked No.1 in his event.

The team also includes shot putters Konrad Bukowiecki and Michał Haratyk as well as national pole vault record-holder Piotr Lisek.

Poland also has big medals hopes in the women’s 4x400m, a discipline in which they were victorious at the IAAF World Relays Yokohama 2019.
